The Old Taylor Distillery dates to about 1887 and was built up as a show place around 1910. Operation ceased in 1972. Most of the architecture still remains but is in a poor state of repair. The picture at bottom right shows what is left of a very long rickhouse (one of a pair). Though certainly not an accurate measurement, my cars odometer says they are each 1/10 mile long!
